My fiance has not gambled for almost a year, I think he now has another addiction.

My fiance was arrested and fired from his job where he was the manager of a business. He was arrested for money missing and sales tickets were being altered. This is when I found out he had a gambling problem. He went through all the court dates (with me right there with him) we paid restitution, and he was given a huge break with only being put into a deferred prosecution program. He seemed to handle everything very well, he then got another job that has nothing to do with handling finances and has worked very hard and is now in management at a major company, he makes very good money and loves his job. Here's where the problem comes in. I have recently found out that he is registered on many adult web sites, he talks to women all over the country about sex and everything that comes with it, he also texts and send pic's of his manhood to these strange women on his cell phone personal and company, he has had an affair and has ask me to move out. When ask by me or the deferred prosecution officer what is wrong, what he is thinking to make him act this way his only reply is I DON'T KNOW. He spends hours a day online talking to numerous women. He has stopped going to GA and has become a person that I do not recognize anymore. Is it possible that he has taken porn and sex to replace whatever he got from gambling?

I'm not an expert on the subject but it sounds like he is replacing one addiction with another. A psychologist might be able to help.

Showing his manhood to women all over the place...hmmmmmmm......

From what I understand, gambling and sex addiction can be the manifestation of deeper problems. He could be trying to escape from something or there's a deeper, underlying pain he's not addressing. What do you think?
